DB2 Universal Database (UDB) for z/OS and OS/390 Application Programming
5 Days Our DB2 experts use lecture, learning checks and workshops to teach the following topics: DB2 relational concepts, normalized table design, use of SPUFI to access and update DB2 tables, use of embedded SQL statements, pre-compiler/bind options and the use of DB2 indexes for performance. AUDIENCE Designed for application programmers and analysts who want to code SQL and embedded SQL applications using DB2’s RDBMS. GOALS SESSION CONTENT Optional: Illustrate DB2 components and their roles within CICS and IMS/TM. Our DB2 experts can cover any and all topics on this subject—topics can be added or deleted per Client’s needs. Pre-Requisites: Working knowledge of COBOL and TSO/ISPF. WORKSTATIONS AND MAINFRAME ACCESS ARE NEEDED FOR THIS SESSION. After taking this class, participant may take QMF, Advanced DB2, Stored Procedures, DB2 Design, and DB2 Administration. |
